This photo of Daisy Pearce being tackled during a 2016 AFL Womens match won the ‘Most Outstanding Single Action Photograph Award’ at the Australian Football Media Association Awards held in September.

It was shot with a Canon EOD-1DX camera, and a Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM Lens. 

The exposure was 1/1250th of a second at f4 and ISO of 1000.
